Privacy policy

Your account

You sign in with Riot Sign On. We receive your player ID (PUUID), your Riot ID and your region. We never see your password.

Your games

Through Riot's official APIs we import your rank, your ranked match history and its timelines, to show your review and prepare your exercises.

We also use public ranked matches, in aggregate, to estimate how a kind of decision usually turns out. We build no profile of other players and do not show their data.

Your activity in Rekap

Your exercise answers, practice points and day streak are stored for your practice ranking.

Your feedback on moments to review (agree, disagree, unsure) stays in your browser unless you export the file yourself.

The practice leaderboard

Other Rekap users see your Riot ID and practice points on the leaderboard, nothing from your games. You can choose not to appear from your dashboard.

Recordings (Windows app)

The Windows app can record your screen during your game, without sound, for the post-game review. Videos and their analyses stay on your PC: today, nothing from them is sent.

An upload to improve the models is planned. It will ask for your agreement once, contain only fixed areas of the game interface (minimap, scoreboard, your HUD), never the full screen, and can be turned off and deleted at any time.

Cookies and local storage

rr_session: your sign-in session (7 days). rr_riot_flow: protects your Riot sign-in while it happens (10 minutes, then deleted). rr_locale: your language (1 year). rr_theme: your display theme (1 year).

Your browser also keeps, on your device only, your feedback on moments to review, your dashboard layout and the Windows app's settings.

All of them run the site or remember your choices: they need no consent. No advertising cookies or audience tracking.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell or share your data. It is kept while your account exists and deleted on request.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Each use of your data rests on a basis provided by the GDPR:

• your account, games, review, exercises and the practice leaderboard: performance of the service you ask for by signing up (Article 6(1)(b));
• the planned upload of your recordings to improve the models: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given once and revocable at any time with a permanent setting;
• public ranked matches used in aggregate, and other players' data in your games: our legitimate interest in running and improving the review (Article 6(1)(f)). This data is pseudonymized, never displayed and never used to profile anyone; you can object by writing to privacy@rekap.gg.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to privacy@rekap.gg. You can also contact your data protection authority.
